To be able to send out emails from the software, besides knowing your email and password, you will need to locate your email server details and add them to Pulse360. The email server information can reside in different places depending on the system you are using.
To make it easier, we are outlining some steps to take on different systems to retrieve the email server information. If you have an IT team, you can ask them to provide this to you. However, if you are unable to find the information, please reach out to us and we will help you.
If you are using a common email provider, such as Gmail or Outlook from Microsoft, the following are their most common settings.
|Email Provider||SMTP Settings||Port||Encryption|
|AOL (including Verizon.net)||Server: smtp.aol.com||465||SSL/TLS|
|Office 365||Server: smtp.office365.com||587||STARTTLS|
|Yahoo!||Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com||587 or 465||TLS/STARTTLS or SSL|
If your email is in this format "firstname.lastname@example.org", then you have a custom email server. Review the applications below and follow the instructions to find your SMTP server details. Note, the applications get updated and these instructions may not apply. In that case, please contact us to let us know.
